This Privacy Policy explains how Avery Rinn, a Texas sole proprietor doing business as RestaurantInfluence ("RestaurantInfluence," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit restaurantinfluence.com (the "Site") or apply for our services.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out our application form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, restaurant name, number of locations, city, and the number of creator visits you're interested in. If you email us or book a call, we collect what you choose to share.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. When you submit an application, we also record your browser's user agent string with your submission so we can spot spam.
Information stored in your browser. While you fill out the application, the Site saves your answers in your browser's session storage so nothing is lost if you close the form. This stays on your device and is cleared when you submit or close the browser tab.
How we use information
- To review your application and decide whether we're a good fit
- To contact you by email or phone about your application, schedule a call, and answer your questions
- To provide and improve our services if you become a client
- To keep the Site secure and prevent spam and abuse
- To comply with legal obligations
We use your phone number only to contact you about your application and our services. We do not send marketing text messages without your consent.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, such as:
- Website hosting and security (Cloudflare)
- Email, file storage, and spreadsheets where applications are kept (Google)
- Fonts used on the Site (Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser loads the fonts)
- Our scheduling tool, if you choose to book a call
These providers may only use the information to provide services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, sale, or transfer of our business.
Cookies and tracking
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels on the Site. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies for security. If you book a call through a third-party scheduling tool, that tool may use its own cookies under its own privacy policy.
How long we keep information
We keep application information for as long as we need it to evaluate your application, provide services, and keep reasonable business records, and then we delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, and we will honor those requests as required by law. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we collect, including encrypted connections to the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Site and our services are meant for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page.
